It's also relatively quick to apply and cured rapidly. However, epoxy injection may not be suitable for wide or erratic cracks as it may not penetrate or bond effectively.

Polyurethane repair is another crack repair technique that we offer at Parkland Concrete. This technique uses polyurethane foam to seal and fill the cracks in concrete. Here's how the process works: First, our team will clean and prepare the cracks as we do in epoxy injection. Next, we'll insert ports and seal them with polyurethane paste. Then, we'll inject the foam into the cracks under low pressure, which will expand and fill the voids. The foam will also create a waterproof and airtight barrier that repels moisture and prevents further damage. One advantage of polyurethane repair is that it's flexible and can withstand movement and vibration, making it suitable for wide and erratic cracks. It's also lightweight and non-invasive, meaning it won't add extra weight to the structure. However, polyurethane repair may not be as long-lasting as epoxy injection and may require periodic maintenance and re-injection.
